Contacting a teacher or the support services of doctoral education directly is often the best and fastest way to have an impact. The opening ceremony of the Doctoral Schools in the beginning of the fall term and other joint events also allow staff and students to exchange thoughts. In addition, teachers collect feedback on each course and respond to feedback during courses.
Doctoral students are encouraged to organize their own meetings and study groups.
Students of Doctoral Schools have representation in e.g. the Executive group for research and doctoral education of the University of the Arts Helsinki (TTJOR) and the Academy Board of the Sibelius Academy and it´s Division for Doctoral Education and Research
