Authorized users

Uniarts students and staff. Other users can access Ebook Central on library computers.

Terms of use

Permitted use of Ebook Central.

Remote use

Remote use available only to Uniarts students and staff with a personal Uniarts username.

Limitations

Varies on a case-by-case basis. Some e-books are licensed to 1-3 concurrent users, while others have unlimited users. Downloading a book ight be restricted if the user already has 10 e-books on loan from the service.

Most e-book functionalities (such as annotating) require logging with Uniarts username.

Reading

You can read e-books online in Ebook Central Reader by clicking the Read Online -button.

Downloading

E-books can be downloaded to your own device, to which you need ADobe Digital Editions app.

choose which device your using (computer, mobile device)
download and install Adobe Digital Editions if necessary, otherwise choose "Done with this step"
choose loan period and click "Download" (the file is an .acsm file)
