Uniarts Helsinki’s diverse publishing covers questions around performing arts, fine arts, music, research and artistic research. Publishing takes place through the academies’ publishing committees, in research centres, and through publishers external to Uniarts Helsinki.
Academic publications are made openly available by publishing in Open Access publication channels or self-archiving them in the institutional repository Taju.
The aim of this guide is to help Uniarts researchers to find a suitable publication channel or platform and provide assistance in any issues with publishing.
Uniarts Helsinki is committed to openness and is a signatory to the Declaration for Open Science and research 2020-2025. We follow the guidelines on responsible conduct of research determined by the Finnish National Board on Research Integrity (TENK) in all data management and in the publishing and openness of our research results. The artistic and academic publications produced within our university are, in principle, openly available on the internet, where they can be read by anyone regardless of place and time.
