RefWorks guide: EBSCO

Exporting references from EBSCO databases

Select the right references from the list of references by clicking on the blue folder on the right side of the reference. The colour of the folder will turn yellow and the box on the right side will say: Folder has items.

You can perform multiple searches and select the right references to the folder. The references will stay in the folder during your session unless you separately delete them from the folder.

  1. When you are ready to export the references from the folder to Refworks, click on "Go to Folder View” on the bottom row of the “Folder has items” section:
"Go to folder view" link circled on EBSCO search results page.

  2. Select the right references and then click on "Export” on the right side of the references:
"Export" link and icon encircled on EBSCO's references page.

  3. After selecting "Direct Export to RefWorks", click on "Save". RefWorks will be opened in a new tab/window:
