Guide to applying for research funding: Commitment of the site of research

Commitment of the site of research

When applying for funding, a commitment from the site of research (=university) is always required. Depending on the funder, the commitment may be a traditional signature or electronic approval. Some funders require neither but trust the applicant to comply with the approval process of his or her organisation. The approval policies of Uniarts Helsinki must also be complied with in these types of situations. The provider of the commitment depends on the scope of the project budget, the placement of the project at Uniarts Helsinki and whether it is a personal grant or funding granted for Uniarts Helsinki. Start planning the application well in advance and discuss the provision of the commitment when starting the application process.

For more information on the provider of the commitment at Uniarts Helsinki: see tab After finding an appropriate form of funding.
