Guide to applying for research funding: Contact the management of your research unit

First, discuss the matter with the management of your research unit

Start the process by discussing the research idea and the compatibility of the project with the strategic goals of the unit and the university with the management of your research unit. The research project may be conducted under Uniarts Helsinki, an academy, a doctoral programme or a research centre. If your project is conducted under Uniarts Helsinki or includes more than one academy, remember to discuss the project with the Vice-Rector for doctoral education and research in addition to the management of your research unit. If the project is conducted under a research centre, contact the director of the centre.
